Celebration of Life

Arnold George Steinmetz, Jr.

“Go big or go home” has defined George's life in every way. He lived life to the fullest and loved with everything he had. So it is only fitting to celebrate his life in a big way. We hope you can join us on April 22nd to celebrate his life with us.
The celebration will be held at
Pigeon Key - Marathon, FL
Saturday, April 22nd
5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Transportation to Pigeon Key will depart from Stanley Switlik Elementary School, beginning at 4:30 PM. Ferry boats and sprinter vans will be provided. They will be running back and forth all night, so you can come and go as you please.
There will be officers on-site to coordinate parking. No private boats will be allowed to dock at Pigeon Key.
Bicycling is encouraged! Please park at Pigeon Key train depot:
1090 Overseas Highway,
Marathon, FL 33050
Fortunately George was loved by many and we are anticipating a large attendance. Please be patient with transportation as this is a unique venue.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Pigeon Key Foundation in George's name. Click here to donate.
